The making of Marin Surf Co.
Long before Marin Surf Co was a brand, it was a feeling. At 13, I picked up a GoPro and started shooting surf photography in Orange County, CA. After each session, I always left feeling excited and drawn to something more. It was the culture, the community and the way surfing connects people to the ocean and to each other.
But over the years, surf companies with some of the most iconic names were drifting away from the people who made them matter. The pursuit of profit and making shareholders happy had quietly replaced any real care for customers, for the planet, and even for the quality of the products.
Marin Surf Co. was born out of that frustration and out of a belief that it could be done differently. Not just as a product company, but as a community-first brand rooted right here in San Diego, CA. A brand that puts people, purpose, and craft above everything else. One that you can trust not just to make great products, but to genuinely care about the customer.
I've always wanted to build something bigger than myself. Marin Surf Co is exactly that.
