The Local Hat is a low-profile, 6-panel dad hat made from durable 100% cotton twill, designed to feel broken-in from the start and better over time. Finished in a clean, unstructured silhouette, it delivers that effortless, worn-everywhere look.

Up front, a flat embroidered wave logo pulled from an original surf shot keeps it rooted in the water. A subtle back logo finishes it off.

Hands down the best quality hat I own. I find myself reaching for it every day, whether I’m going to the beach, running errands, golfing, or just wanting something to pair with a casual outfit. It has held up phenomenally and is so easy to clean. I especially love that the embroidery isn’t exposed on the inside. It makes the hat more comfortable to wear and just feels higher quality and more durable than a lot of other hats I own. I always love supporting a small brand, but honestly, this feels like a hat from a high-end brand. I recommend it to everyone!

I have two hats from Marin the performance and the local. Both of them are two of the best fitting hats I’ve ever worn. And I’m an older dude I’ve worn a lot of hats. Definitely looking forward to more products coming out of Marin surf Co.
